August 2010
The last few months have been very busy for business related news in the Trafford area. Recent announcements include the plans for the new Tesco and linked redevelopment of Old Trafford Cricket Ground not being called in by Government Office North West, clearing the way for work to begin, Peel Energy starting consultations on their plans for the Barton Renewable Energy Plant and the announcement that Nick Gerrard will be taking up the role of Corporate Director for Economic Growth and Prosperity at Trafford MBC. The Chamber will be keeping in touch with developments affecting our members in the Borough and will endeavor to keep them as well informed as possible.
