International Travel and Operational Security Seminar - Squire Patton Boggs

This seminar will provide a practical and interactive approach to managing the risks of overseas travel for employees - keeping them sage and, in turn, reducing the risk to your business. The seminar will use case studies to contrast domestic and overseas law and draw out the practical implications.

It will highlight the employer's legal duties in relation to workers and third parties overseas, give an overview of the pitfalls and legal obligations relating to driving abroad and the use of economy services such as Airbnb and Uber while traveling, and conclude with a practical session on crisis management and business continuity.

UK-Côte d'lvoire Trade & Investment Forum - Developing Markets Associates

A senior government delegation will attend the UK-Côte d'lvoire Trade & Investment Forum to showcase the many investment opportunities that Côte d'lvoire can offer international investors. Doing Business in Saudi Arabia Workshop - Saudi British Joint Business Council

Date: 18th July 2017

The Saudi British Joint Business Council (SBJBC UK) is delighted to be hosting a ‘Doing Business in Saudi Arabia’ workshop to be held at their offices. The event will include presentations and panel sessions on current business opportunity sectors in Saudi Arabia, and the support available to exporters and investors The workshop follows recent progress in Saudi Vision 2030 implementation, including the creation of a Saudi SME Authority, promotion of the creative and tourism sectors, and reform of education and healthcare. Participants will have the opportunity to meet other Saudi and UK companies already present in the Kingdom. The workshop will be opened by SBJBC Co-Chairs, Rt Hon Baroness Symons of Vernham Dean and Sheikh Nasser Al Mutawa. Keynote speakers will include SBJBC members from different sectors, who have extensive experience of working in the Kingdom.

SAARC Investment Forum

Date: 6th September 2017

Location: Colombo - Sri Lanka

South Asia is home to more than 1.6 billion people and has experienced significant economic growth over the last decade. World bank notified that South Asia as the world’s fastest growing region in the world and expects to remain in more than 7% growth until 2017. 30% of the population is currently under the age of 15, creating a future demographic bulge that presents an opportunity to develop human capital and nurture entrepreneurship. The markets in South Asia offer a diverse array of investment opportunities in different sectors. Largest amounts of capital have been deployed in the sectors of energy, financial services and manufacturing, and these remain active sectors for investment across the region. There is huge potential in other sectors such as ago-business, health, and information and communication technology, and in businesses providing basic goods and services.

Objectives:

  • SAARC Investor Forum is an effort to unleash unlimited investment opportunities in the region while branding South Asia as an investment hub to encourage South Asian investors for cross border investments within the region and attract investors from outside the region.
  • Encourage young and innovative entrepreneurs to interact with experienced entrepreneurs to share experience and find funds to implement their innovative ideas.
  • Create a space for Investors to network with South Asian business community and policy makers.

About Agro-Tex Trade show

The 5th edition of AGRI-TEX 2017 is supported by State Govt of Telangana and is organized by Kenes Exhibitions. This International Agricultural, Dairy and Food Processing Trade Fair, will be an opportunity for all those involved in the fields of Agriculture, Dairy & related activities to expand and diversify their business in India. The trade show will focus in the areas of: Seed Technology, Dairy, Aquaculture, Agri Machinery (with focus on water saving technologies), Precision Agriculture and Food Processing.
