Ghislaine and Michael Howard recently held a ‘work in progress’ exhibition as part of the 10 Boroughs/10 Paintings project at the well-being Hub at Bolton Hospice.

Kathryn Willett from the Hospice, who introduced the evening event, said: "This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the work of Bolton Hospice as Ghislaine’s paintings perfectly illustrate the power of human touch which brings such a comfort to so many of the people that we care for at the Hospice.

"Not only do our staff and volunteers provide that vital end of life care that so many people in our community depend on, they are also always ready to provide a hand to hold in the middle of the night or a comforting embrace just at the right time and Ghislaine’s work captures these precious moments of warmth, love, reassurance and safety so beautifully – thank you so much Ghislaine!"

The event was a great success, Ghislaine’s met with a tremendous response and the Hospice was delighted, as they received increased sponsorship and a new Patron.
