All of the meetings we have had have been incredibly productive and beneficial to Cardinal Maritime and to me personally. As a company we are embarking on a new venture, to establish and market a training academy, to enable us to offer industry specific training to our employees and also our customers.
I have developed and delivered a number of courses which have been extremely well received, but where I was lacking, was in knowing how to have these qualifications accredited. The Chamber's knowledge and guidance has been invaluable, it has led to me completing a Safeguarding Certificate and has enabled us to create a Safeguarding Committee and to write a policy to support this.
Our mentor programme has also been supported by the Chamber hugely and again I'm using the information discussed at our meetings to improve the programme. The Chamber's involvement has really given me the guidance and confidence to develop the training academy further. In my opinion the service we have received has been a true representation of what the Chamber of Commerce was originally set up to do, to support and develop new business in Greater Manchester.
