Don't miss this workshop specifically aimed at SMEs to find out more about the support available, local stakeholders and implementation of AI in business organised by MMU.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)’s disruptive potential for business productivity, growth and competitiveness is enormous. AI is no longer a tool reserved for multinationals with deep tech budget pockets but nowadays is more accessible than ever. How can SMEs take advantage of AI and gain competitive advantage?

Manchester Metropolitan University’s Turing Network and Business School are leading the development of a regional forum to support and empower AI adoption and integration in business processes. The forum will combine entrepreneurialism and innovation and will support the region’s businesses to access AI expertise, collaborations and funding opportunities.

The power of AI and how SMEs can exploit this will be explored in this one-day event. By bringing together a range of stakeholders including academics, AI experts, innovators, private companies, and business and governmental agencies, the event will showcase the opportunities for SMEs as well as large companies to unlock their potential.

Success stories from SMEs that are benefitting from using AI in their business processes and product development will be highlighted to help entrepreneurs and business owners develop their own route to AI adoption.

We’ll also hear from AI and technology experts who’ll discuss issues relating to AI integration including the opportunities, risks and ethics that are essential to consider in the scaling of SME businesses and overall growth.

Finally, you’ll learn more about financing opportunities and capacity building such as skills development and business growth support in a practical workshop featuring academics championing knowledge exchange and industry experts from financial services and consultancy sectors.
