This course is part of our Leaders' Network offering. We aim to bring you the very best Director Development offer at a price that works for businesses of all shapes and size, across Greater Manchester and the North of England.
We know that the ‘financial bit’ of board meetings can be scary, even for the most experienced directors. Our course will demystify the world of finance for non-finance directors and senior leaders across departments. It will give you an understanding of key financial concepts and terminology.
You will leave with the skills and knowledge needed to assess the financial health of your organisation, interpret accounts, evaluate business plans, question financial information, use financial ratios, and contribute more effectively to boardroom decision-making.
This course will cover:
✓ How to create and understand the purpose of a balance sheet
✓ An introduction to financial analyses
✓ How to create profit and loss accounts
✓ How to interpret a set of accounts
✓ The tricks of the trade
✓ What is working capital and how it should be operated
✓ Cash management
✓ The different types of financing options
Course leader
The course will be led by award-winning trainer and Director Jo Haigh. Read more about Jo Haigh HERE
