Join us for our next Leader's Network Lunch of 2025.
Our regular Leaders' Lunches bring together business leaders from all sectors. Delegates will enjoy a two-course lunch with a glass of wine/soft drink and coffee, in the company of various other directors from across the North West. An influential guest speaker will share their valuable experiences and key insights.
There will be plenty of networking time as well during the welcome reception, during lunch and after.
Our guest speaker for November will be Poonam Kaur, CEO of fds Director Services.
Winner of Leeds City Region Leader and shortlisted for Diversity & Inclusion Leader and Professional Services Leader by The Northern Leadership Awards 2023. In addition to being shortlisted for Levelling Up Leader by Northern Power Womens Awards, Director of the Year by The Institute of Directors and winner of Mentor of the Year by Forward Ladies, Poonam Kaur is an award-winning corporate financier, accountant, and business consultant.
With over 20 years of experience in accounting and corporate finance, Poonam has worked with organisations across many industries, including worldwide organisations, supporting them with succession planning (specifically mergers and acquisitions) or on their board via an appointment or director-level training. Her specialisms in director-level training include the Role of a Company Director, Good Corporate Governance, Finance for Non-Finance Directors/Managers, Buying and Selling Businesses, and the Role of a Non-Executive Director.
Poonam is CEO of fds Director Services, where she leads all projects and director-level training with the support of Chair Jo Haigh. She is passionate about helping organisations and directors with their business journeys, whatever their stage.

Cancellation Terms
In case you are no longer able to attend this event, please note you must cancel your place at least 5 working days before the date. The cancellation must be in writing and sent to events@gmchamber.co.uk indicating the name of the event you are cancelling for and delegate(s) details. If a booking is not cancelled and the delegate does not attend, full event costs will still apply.
Payments
All payments for event bookings must be received in full prior to the event date. Failure to provide payment before the event may result in your booking being cancelled. Please ensure that payment is made promptly to secure your attendance.
