Activity 2019-2020

On 7th November 2019, we ran the first UK event of project which focused on innovation, with the opportunity to hear from two companies leading innovation in the blue economy industry. Read our follow-up article here.
On the 5th October 2020, we were part of a GMCC Led Event focus on 'The Importance of Greener Future for Business' - where we had a range of local businesses sharing their experience and we showcased the support we can provided as part of the EU FAN BEST programme. We had over 30 delegates tuning in on the day.
On the 26th November 2020, we also delivered another event in partnership with Inventya/EEN and the GC Business Angels to raise awareness and provide insights on how to access funding for innovative projects in the Blue Economy sector. The event also had Melanie Sinclair from Marlan Maritime Technologies sharing their success taking their project idea into a successful business venture.
