New Tax Year – New Insights
Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce's Research offers industry-led expertise in policy, economic insight and business intelligence to its members and its key partners, as well as commercially to a wide variety of clients.
Operating under its three key pillars of influence, insight and intelligence, the team provides comprehensive services that allow clients access to its extensive experience of primary and secondary research, economic research, policy research and lobbying as well as large-scale big data analytics and information systems (databases, CRM systems, cloud security) design and consultancy.
How you can gain new insights through the Chamber this tax year:
Quarterly Economic Survey - The Greater Manchester Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) is the longest-running, largest and most reliable business confidence indicator in the UK. Our members provide their unique opinions and experiences which are analysed and passed on to local decision makers, MPs, Government Ministers and Bank of England to ensure the voice of Greater Manchester businesses are heard when key decisions are being made.
Collaborative research - The Collaborative Research Programme is designed to significantly broaden Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce's economic and policy research and data analysis capabilities. It is in the process of building a dedicated digital economics platform for its substantial assets in micro- and macro-economic research, intelligence, forecasting and modelling and is now embarking on a similar project to better understand its members' needs.
GM Best - Greater Manchester Business, Employment, Skills and Training monitor (GM BEST) is an initiative from the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC) and Greater Manchester Learning Provider Network (GMLPN) to gather real 'on the ground' views from our city region's business community.
