Manchester Metropolitan University - Manchester Met are a proud patron of Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, working with students to help them start-up a business and with business owners to help them grow. In the last five years, we have supported over 2,000 business owners to grow their firms, many achieving growth between 28-48% in the first 18 months after the programme. We offer accredited professional qualifications inspired by industry practice, free masterclasses from entrepreneurs once a month and fully-funded business support programmes for SMEs looking to grow.

For example, since 2011, almost 300 businesses have completed the flagship Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programme, growing above national average, employing more people and dramatically increasing their turnovers.
