We have received reports that some Carnet customers are experiencing difficulties in Saudi Arabia with completion of the ZATCA website.
Please be aware that the holder of the Carnet must complete the NATCA pre-registration and note that the Carnet may not end up being stamped in and out. Saudi Zakat Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) introduced a mandatory Carnet pre-approval procedure for clearance of ATA Carnet goods.
Check the Service User Manual for details here.

Anyone experiencing problems completing the site must contact the above helpline.
Failure to pre-register will result in the entry being refused or Carnet user having to pay additional fees. Some users have also reported that Carnets are not being endorsed by Customs as they rely on pre-registration and Carnet validity confirmation from UKNATACO (Saudi NGO contacts UKNATACO to confirm each Carnet issued for Saudi Arabia is valid)
In case of incorrect goods valuation, the ATA Carnet will be rejected at the time of import and the goods may be subject to seizure/confiscation. The Holder may also be penalized financially.
