Lockdown in Greater Manchester has changed how many people do business. We recognise that it’s a difficult time, especially for businesses within the creative industries. However, there are many different ways to access funding and training which can be of no cost to your business. Just some of things that we can share with you are included below.
Creative England understands the needs of creative businesses. They know how difficult it is to access finance from traditional sources and that in order to take your business to the next stage, you need a cash injection to make your growth plans a reality. Whether you’re looking for cash-flow support through the current pandemic or long-term investment to grow your business, they have the flexibility and expertise to offer financial support that works for you. The Creative Growth Finance Debt Fund in partnership with Triodos Bank UK, is a £24 million fund providing vital scale up finance to the UK’s most promising creative businesses.
United in Isolation is an information hub for creatives during COVID-19 crisis. This project, with no official organisation behind it aims to create a centre point of information, where creative practitioners could find useful things through easy search and filter.
GM Arts and Business Bolton are holding a Rebuilding Your Creative Business workshop that will help creative businesses to succeed and thrive in this new environment.
