IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR GREATER MANCHESTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE EXPORT DOCUMENTATION & INTERNATIONAL TRADE CUSTOMERS

VIRTUAL AND FACE TO FACE COUNTER, DROP OFF AND COLLECTION FOR EXPORT DOCUMENTATION SERVICES

TUESDAY / WEDNESDAY / THURSDAY  - CALL TO ARRANGE BEFORE HAND.

Airport Office

Remains opened for Export Documentation members and customers as per below:

POST (VERY IMPORTANT)

Only our airport office will remain operational at this time to receive documentation via postal method including pre-signed EUR1 forms. Please note if you are posting pre-signed EUR1 forms to us please ensure that you include your account MAN or CBE reference, so we allocate it to your application.

Returned post – Our last 1st class postage will be 3.30pm anything Royal Mail Special Delivery or signed for will be posted the next day.

ELECTRONIC SERVICE

Did you know you can save up to 20 minutes per application when submitting your documents electronically? We encourage all our customers to use this as the main channel to submit all documents, especially for those companies who have been submitting manually. Whether you are a new customer or an existing one, please go to: www.ecert.sgs.com.

eCert Processing Hours

We continue to offer the following:

  • Monday to Friday - e-Cert applications will be processed up until 4pm.
  • Last 1st class postage will be 3.30pm anything RMSD or signed for will be posted the next day.

Any documents submitted after this time may only be processed the next working day.

Services offered via eCert

Express Applications

Opting for Express services will enable you to print your documents directly, saving time and money in postage. Below are the documents we can process:

  • UK (United Kingdom) Certificates of Origin
  • UK EUR1s, please note some countries currently do not accept electronic signatures so you cannot send express. Please check the list of exceptions under Standard applications below.
  • Invoices and Other Documents (e.g., packing lists) which require certification Blank Certificates - If you need blank certificates, please email our team at exportdocs@gmchamber.co.uk to order some.

There are some countries which do not accept e-signatures therefore we cannot offer express service. Check the list here

Standard Applications

Whilst the post is operational, we will return documents by 1st class post. However, to facilitate and cut delivery times, if requested we can send documents back to you via email as scanned copies, so please make sure to request this in the notes to Chamber on your application.

PAYMENTS BY CHEQUES

We no longer accept payments by cheques.   We kindly therefore ask customers to avoid sending cheques to either of our office and instead consider paying via BACS or via Credit card. To switch your payments, please email us at invoices@gmchamber.co.uk

OTHER INTERNATIONAL TRADE SERVICES

Elliot House:  Opened Monday to Friday from 9:30 till 16:30 p.m.    

Virtually, the whole team continues to be available from 9:00 a.m. till 17:00 p.m Monday to Friday.
