Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce has launched a new partnership with podcast consultants Dap Dip.

Dap Dip works with organisations to help them develop content, themes and topics for podcasts. Using a unique concept development process, Dap Dip helps clients to make the best podcast possible, then points them in the direction of a world-class producer who can make it a reality.

Lucy Mulligan, Head of Marketing at Greater Manchester Chamber, said: “We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Dap Dip. This is an exciting move for the Chamber and our member community, bringing new expertise and support to the membership offer. Content has never been more important to connect with your audience, and Dap Dip supports businesses on their journey to top class content.”

Guy Kilty, Founder and Managing director of Dap Dip, added: "As a proud Mancunian I love that Dap Dip is part of the creative ecosystem in Manchester. The city has a great history of embracing new technology and being at the forefront of innovation and I like to think we are part of that tradition in the world of podcasts, or audio (and often video) on demand. With our expertise and passion for podcasting, I hope we'll be able to continue helping forward-thinking individuals and organisations based in Manchester and beyond create brilliant content that connects directly with their target audiences."

Dap Dip, which has a proven track record of developing brilliant shows, provides three key services to clients:

  • Concept Development – clients are guided through the big decisions, including why they are making a show and who they are making it for, the name, format and music they are going to use, how they are going to publish it and then promote it.
  • Existing podcasts audit – Dap Dip can analyse what a client is doing and highlight how they can make it better. At the end of the process, Dap Dip provides a detailed report, then talks the client through how to take the next steps.
  • Long-term partnership - through regular meetings, Dap Dip can be a sounding board and provide advice to ensure all the elements of a client’s podcast are running smoothly and in sync. This includes assistance on every aspect of the show, from episode planning, theme ideas, guest bookings and promotional strategies, to working with producers, editors and advertisers.
