If you’re struggling to recruit the skilled staff you need, or training your existing staff seems like an uphill battle, we’d really like to speak to you.

The Chamber is working on the Greater Manchester Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) on behalf of the Department for Education, and we’d like to hear your experiences about skills shortages in your sector, problems with recruitment and your training experiences.*

We’ve been gathering information to feed into the LSIP for the last two years and working with training providers and colleges to ensure the courses that are available meet the needs of employers. But this isn’t a ‘one-time’ exercise. We need to constantly refresh our data so that the evolving skills needs of Greater Manchester businesses are being met.

So, if you can spend an hour of your time (no more – we promise) telling us what’s lacking in your sector, please contact the Chamber’s LSIP team today: gmlsip@gmchamber.co.uk
