Private equity-backed Air IT has announced the acquisition of SoConnect Limited (https://www.soconnect.co.uk/). This latest move establishes a regional hub for Air IT in Scotland and further increases its share of the UK SME market.
Following last month's acquisition of Lincolnshire-based SCS Technology Solutions, this latest deal highlights Air IT's appetite for growth.
Supported by August Equity, Air IT has acquired thirteen businesses to date. SoConnect is its first one in Scotland.
Founded by Campbell Fraser in 2011, SoConnect has delivered strong year-on-year growth and built a client base of 500 companies. Its strong management team and expert staff are an excellent platform to establish Air IT in Scotland. SoConnect's clients will benefit from the strength and depth of a 500-strong national business and proactive management, support, and protection via Air IT's 24x7 network and security operations centres.
