17th March 2025 -- Metalube Group (incorporating Molyslip), hosted its Southeast Asia Distributor Convention at its headquarters in Irlam, Manchester, bringing together key partners from across the region for an engaging and insightful event.
Twelve representatives from five distributors spanning four countries—Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia—gathered to strengthen collaboration, exchange industry knowledge, and explore future opportunities in the distribution of Metalube and Molyslip products.
The three-day event, held from 24th-26th February, provided attendees with a comprehensive understanding of Metalube and Molyslip’s operations, technical expertise, and strategic vision for the future. The event commenced with a full site tour, showcasing state-of-the-art laboratory and manufacturing capabilities. Distributors were given an in-depth look at the companies’ advanced production processes, reinforcing its commitment to quality and innovation.
Workshops led by Metalube and Molyslip’s commercial and technical experts covered key product areas and market insights, allowing distributors to deepen their expertise and explore new business opportunities. Sessions focused on wire, tube & hot rolling, oil & gas, food industry, wood panel applications, and metal processing. The final day of the convention was dedicated to strategic planning and discussions aimed at shaping the future of Metalube and Molyslip’s partnerships in the region.
A highlight of the event was the awards ceremony, where Metalube and Molyslip recognised outstanding distributors for their exceptional contributions. Their dedication and impact in expanding the brands’ presence in South East Asia were celebrated.
