Cornerstone Resources, a leading Stockport based HR consultancy, have moved their main office location to take up the ground floor of an office block in Hazel Grove, Stockport. The move has been completed to allow for current and future growth plans and to provide a more professional environment for our team to work in. The Cornerstone team have taken the lease over from In Accountancy, the well known Stockport based tax and accounting practice.
Robert Birley, Director, said the following about the move:
"We've seen a fourfold increase in revenue since 2021 based on a steady growth in retained customers. As such, we're expanding our team to meet a continued increase in anticipated demand. The new offices at Equitas House provide much needed space as we'd outgrown the previous location. We can now more effectively hold on site meetings and have breakout spaces for confidential meetings. This feels like a big step forward for our small but growing company.
There's a lot happening in the Employment Law space in October, with the introduction of new Sexual Harassment legislation as well as the anticipated changes to the Employment Rights Bill. This will include restrictions on zero hours contracts, firing and rehiring and will extend rights from day one of employment. If you don't have HR support, now is the time to find a partner. We at Cornerstone Resources have decided now is the time to move offices and increase capacity to be able to service that increase in demand that we expect to see.
