The Further Education Innovation Fund (FEIF), an initiative by Innovate UK, is designed to stimulate local business innovation and amplify the contribution of Further Education Colleges (FECs) within their local innovation ecosystem. £2.5 million was granted to the Greater Manchester Colleges (GMColleges) to fulfil the city-region’s ambitions. The FEIF-funded programme aims to bolster the role of FECs in broadening innovation support to enhance productivity across Greater Manchester. This includes fostering the adoption of innovative technologies and processes, and facilitating business growth and productivity.
