PM+M - the Bury and Blackburn-based chartered accountancy, business advisory and financial planning group – has confirmed details of its upcoming employment law, tax and payroll update seminar that will be taking place on Wednesday 12th March at Red Hall Hotel in Bury.
The content of the free event has been curated so HR and payroll professionals, senior decision-makers and business owners who attend will be up to speed on their responsibilities in an ever-changing world of legislation. The seminar has been carefully timed so it ties into the end of the current tax year.
Attendees will hear from Julie Mason and Julie Walsh (pictured) PM+M’s payroll and employment tax specialists, who will cover a raft of hot topics including: the recent changes to National Insurance; hybrid and home working; global mobility; holiday pay and national minimum wage; salary sacrifice; auto enrolment pensions; and IR35.
PM+M has also invited Claire Haworth, partner at AfterAthena Limited which is part of the Napthens Group, to give an update on employment obligations from a legal perspective.
Julie Mason commented: “Firms of all sizes now have to navigate a plethora of legislation so we are really excited to be staging this free event for local businesses in Bury and beyond. Our aim is to strip away any confusion and give practical guidance that people can take away and implement straight away.”
