A researcher from the University of Salford Business School is seeking to speak with accounting professionals as part of doctoral research.
Project Title: The Intelligence Battlefield: Human vs. Machine in Accounting
Research Objective:
This study aims to explore how the interaction between humans and machines is harmonised in accounting. Specifically, it examines how the relationship between AI and accountants is shaped, the accounting practices that enhance this harmonisation, and the extent to which human accountants retain control in AI-driven environments.
Intended Participants:
The researcher is seeking accounting professionals with or without experience in environments where AI or automation tools are integrated into accounting processes. This includes auditors, financial analysts, accounting managers, and professionals involved in AI implementation in accounting systems or have knowledge of AI impact in accounting.
Instead of Interviews, the researcher can provide questionnaires.

- Duration: Approximately 15 minutes to complete.
- Confidentiality: All responses will be treated with strict confidentiality, and participant anonymity will be maintained in the research findings.
