United Utilities understands that it’s a very difficult time for many businesses across the North West due to rising
costs. That’s why it wants to do all it can to help you make your water bill as low as it can be.
United Utilities would therefore like to offer Chamber members a FREE water saving visit to locate any leaks, show you ways to save water in your business and save money on your water and energy bills too.
About your FREE water saving visit
The visit should take no longer than a day. The time it takes depends on the size of your business and the water saving potential. It does not require supervision unless you choose to do so.
The experts will:
- Locate and fix minor leaks on toilets, taps and showers
- Install water saving devices
Fixing even small leaks can make a big difference - one leaking toilet can waste up to 400 litres of water
a day, that’s 146,000 litres a year or over 500,000 cups of tea. As you’re paying for all the water you
use, finding and fixing leaks will reduce your bill and save money.
And remember, if you can reduce the amount of hot water that your business uses this will help to reduce your energy bills.
