The Hallé is once again hosting its unmissable supper clubs in the beautiful surroundings of Hallé St Peter’s, Ancoats. With previous events selling out, these hugely popular social occasions are all about coming together to share a love of food, history and music.
Diners will be treated to an informal, relaxed two-course meal with drinks, designed by Café Cotton and inspired by historic menus, tour diaries and newspaper cuttings kept safe in the Hallé’s archive for 166 years. Sir Charles Hallé was a great believer in the importance of community and these experiences reflect the continued significance of this in today’s world.
New for 2025: the menu’s inspiration comes from the different cuisines from the many countries that the Hallé has toured to over the years. On the night, we will spill the beans, not just on what was eaten, but also on what an orchestra gets up to on tour, with extracts from tour diaries from the past 70 years.
Tickets for these exclusive experiences are £40 per person (fees apply). Thanks to the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund and National Lottery Players, tickets for Ancoats residents are just £25 plus fees (proof of address will be required).
An evening at a Hallé Supper Club makes a great Christmas present too. Gift this unique experience with the option of a limited time gift voucher. A specially designed ticket can be posted to you or printed at home, ready for Christmas morning. More details on how to purchase tickets, for yourself or as a gift, can be found at:
