The Greater Manchester Construction Museum (GMCM) is a teaching and learning resource that will introduce young people across the North West to the materials and skills used in constructing safe, sustainable buildings, as well as the rewarding careers in the built environment sector.
Visitors learn about topics including the evolution of tools through time and discover state-of-the-art equipment used in the industry today. They are able to take part in interactive exercises led by the University's expert team and get hands on with the materials that make up our world.
Don't miss the University of Salford's upcoming Apprenticeship Showcase and the launch of the Greater Manchester Construction Museum (GMCM).
On 2nd April, you will have the opportunity to hear from RECOM Solutions' Head of Passive Fire Protection, Sarah Leadbetter about their contribution to the GMCM and how they are leading the way in fire safety. You will also connect with representatives from some of the leading construction and engineering companies in the North West and get the latest news in apprenticeships from the School of Science, Engineering and Environment.
