A key part of VPS's People Agenda is creating opportunities for armed forces veterans, members of cadet forces and families of ex service personnel.
A key component of this will be to achieve the Armed Forces Recognition Scheme Silver Award.
VPS has previously signed the Armed Forces Covenant and are current holders of the Bronze Award.
We will help to remove barriers to employment that can be experienced by veterans, cadet personnel & currently serving reservists and ensure we are highlighting employment opportunities VPS has to offer.
In 2025 we will advocate the Armed Forces Recognition Scheme to clients, supply chains and network partners to support them with the initial application process.
