Enjoying proximity with Mainland China and Southeast Asia, which are both a smart manufacturing powerhouse and huge market, Hong Kong has been a strategic gateway for global tech solution providers to enter the APAC market.

InnoEX, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), is Asia’s most dynamic and anticipated innovation and technology extravaganza in Asia. The 2024 edition showcased solutions from 13 countries and regions, attracting over 38,000 visitors from 134 markets with a considerable portion of overseas delegates coming from Mainland China, India, Japan and Korea. Surveys conducted during the InnoEX and concurrent Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) show that in terms of digital technologies, AI research would be the strongest and most advantageous I&T area in Hong Kong, followed by FinTech. In terms of electronics product categories, smart living products and solutions would enjoy the highest growth potential in the majority of markets around the world. In the next two years, potential would be the highest for extended reality (XR) in audio-visual entertainment uses, as well as mobile and online games. With the Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Guangzhou science and technology cluster being ranked the world’s second most innovative hub for five consecutive years under the Global Innovation Index, Hong Kong sets to be your next destination if you’re looking to source technologies and explore partnerships.

Happening on 13-16 April 2025 in Hong Kong, InnoEX will gather some 450 tech entrepreneurs, universities, research institutions and corporates from around the world demonstrating their latest inventions in the fields of smart city, smart economy, smart environment, smart government and smart mobility. Are you ready to dive into the future of technology and innovation?
