We are currently looking for participants in the UK Government project “UK-Taiwan Strategic Semiconductor Trade Digitalisation Pilot (SSTDP).”
This project is aimed at contributing to the UK Government policy of delivering bilateral trade partnerships & building supply chain resilience, as well as align with the UK’s Invest 2035 strategy and national productivity goals, providing semiconductor companies with tangible benefits.
The project is geographically focussed on the UK and Taiwan and although the target is the semiconductor industry, this sector is very much a horizontal in the modern world rather than a vertical, therefore any of the following businesses could participate:
- Producers of semiconductors, be it upstream or downstream
- Consumables e.g. chemicals
- Consumers of semiconductors – This of course is a massive range of companies however we would want to focus on the more strategically important companies such as defence, automotive, medical, etc.
You can find the link to the microsite and downloadable briefing brochure here.
This is not a theoretical project; it is focussed on the execution of the physical movement of strategic goods. LogChain has a demonstrable track record in this area; examples include:
Our work directly impacts businesses both from an export point of view as well as productivity. In our recent project we improved staff productivity at the Rolls Royce joint venture in Singapore (SASEL) by an incredible 67%. I would urge you to download and read the public report which is available here.
Once you have had time to review this information could you please let me know if this is something you would wish to discuss further.
